Dr. Emad Rizk joined Cotiviti in August 2016 and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. A seasoned and renowned healthcare industry senior executive, Dr. Rizk brings to this role more than 25 years of experience working closely with payers, providers, and government entities. Most recently, he served as CEO of Accretive Health and was also a member of its Board of Directors. Prior to Accretive Health, Dr. Rizk was President of McKesson Health Solutions, a business that provides clinical and financial solutions to healthcare payers.
Before joining McKesson, Dr. Rizk served as Senior Partner and Global Director, Medical Management/Pharmacy for Deloitte Consulting. While at Deloitte, he led the company’s medical cost and quality management practice across all segments. Prior to that, he served as the Associate Medical Director and then Worldwide Medical Director at the Monsanto Corporation. Dr. Rizk currently serves as a board member at Intarcia, Inc., Accuray Inc., and the National Association for Hispanic Health. He also previously served on the National Clinical Advisory Board, National Quality Review Board, and was Director on the board of DMAA (The Care Continuum Alliance).
Dr. Rizk’s work has been published frequently in journals and books, and he has been widely recognized in the healthcare Industry. Modern Healthcare has named Dr. Rizk numerous times as one of the “50 Most Influential Physician Executives in the United States,” and the “Top 100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare”. Managed Healthcare Executive also named him to its “Top 25 Leaders in Disease Management.” He is a lecturer at Wharton (UPenn), Harvard, MIT, Columbia, and the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern).
David brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience to his role at Cotiviti. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees all healthcare core business units as well as the centers of excellence that support them, including infrastructure, security, implementation, clinical content, research and development, coding operations, analytics, and product management.
Before joining Cotiviti, David was most recently the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Information Officer for Accretive Health, where he created new market and growth strategies and drove technology and services rationalization and improvement. He also previously served as General Manager/President of RelayHealth/Per-Se, a division of McKesson, where he was responsible for all business operations, business development, strategic planning, product management, client relationships, and payer services.
David holds a BS in Healthcare Administration from Southern Illinois University.
As Chief Financial Officer, Felix is responsible for the overall financial performance of Cotiviti, leading oversight of its fiduciary, treasury, investor relations, planning, and facility operations. Within his first year of joining the organization, he led the financial execution of two major acquisitions, including Verscend Technologies’ purchase of Cotiviti Holdings, while overseeing all private and public debt financing activities.
Felix is a senior finance and operations executive who has consistently driven profitable growth for both public and private equity-owned multibillion-dollar Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies. His core strengths include improving profitability, building strong teams, and continually partnering to improve operational processes to exceed customer expectations.
After beginning his career in enterprise-wide system implementations, Felix transitioned into financial leadership roles at several leading healthcare technology and services companies. Prior to Cotiviti, He most recently served as CFO of population health solutions for Aetna, where he oversaw the realignment and divestiture of business units. Previously, he held global business unit financial and operational leadership roles at Henry Schein, where he created new business segments and led them to profitability through organic growth, M&A, and international expansion. Felix also served as Director of Finance for Ancestry.com, where he was part of a team that led the company to an IPO.
Felix earned his Master of Business Administration from Utah State University.
As Executive Vice President, Administrative Officer, Jordan is responsible for Cotiviti’s corporate strategy, marketing, retail, strategic alliances, legal, and compliance functions. In this capacity, he is entrusted with ensuring that Cotiviti’s vision aligns with our clients and the broader marketplace. He is committed to advancing our clients’ goals through solutions that empower their success in an evolving landscape.
Jordan has spent his career focused on technology and analytics, often applied towards developing sustainable business models for the delivery of healthcare in the U.S. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Product and Strategy for the organization, and also previously served as Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, Jordan held positions in strategy and new product development at The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare consulting and technology firm.
He earned an MBA from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he previously served as a trustee.
Chris is responsible for driving Cotiviti’s growth, leading its sales organization, forging new pathways and partnerships, and ensuring commercial strategic focus. As a healthcare veteran with more than 25 years of industry experience, Chris has held senior-level leadership positions across a variety of market segments, including healthcare services, health insurance operations, and management consulting. Most recently, he served as Chief Solutions Officer for Welltok, a fast-growth health technology company. Prior to Welltok, he was the CEO and founder of Predilytics, which was purchased by Welltok.
In addition, Chris has held leadership positions at several payer, provider, and healthcare services companies, including Health Dialog, Cigna HealthCare, and Matria Healthcare (now Alere). Chris currently sits on the board of directors of Regent Surgical Health and Emerson Hospital, serves on the advisory board of Jefferson University’s Public Health Program, and is an editor for Population Health Management.
Chris received a master’s degree in health administration from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Miami University.
In his role as Executive Vice President of Client Engagement, Joe is responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our clients. Joe engages with clients directly and provides strategic direction for our client engagement teams to deliver the best possible results for our customers’ success. By serving as an advocate for our clients internally and drawing on his two decades of experience in healthcare, he ensures their needs are both understood and met by Cotiviti’s team.
Prior to joining Cotiviti in September 2016, Joe most recently worked for McKesson Corporation, where he spent the majority of his career as vice president of account management and oversaw the retention of thousands of payer, government, provider, and hospital clients by building and managing a strong client-facing team. He also previously worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Joe holds a master’s degree in management from Antioch University New England and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Maine.
At Cotiviti, Kerri is responsible for talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits programs. Kerri works closely with the finance, operations, and strategy teams to ensure alignment between employee initiatives and organizational goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Cotiviti, Kerri was Corporate Human Resources Manager at George Weston Bakeries, Inc. While there, she developed and maintained HR initiatives including staffing, career development, training, and retention. Kerri also served as employment manager for Langham Hotel in Boston. In this role, she was responsible for the administration of all HR functions including compensation, benefits, employee relations, legal compliance, and health and safety programs.
Kerri holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University and a MS in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College. She also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
Peter brings more than 20 years of executive leadership in healthcare services and technology to his role at Cotiviti, where he leads the organization’s Transformation Office. As part of the Transformation Office, Peter is leading the integration of the merger of Verscend Technologies and Cotiviti. The Transformation Office encompasses the enterprise program management office (EPMO), which leads large scale projects that cut across the organization, and the Integration Management Office (IMO). Peter is also tasked with expanding the adoption of Lean Six Sigma across the organization and building a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence.
Prior to joining Cotiviti, Peter served as Chief Financial Officer and other executive roles at several public and privately held companies, where he managed financial, technology, data informatics, compliance, customer, process improvement, and operational teams in corporate and divisional settings during periods of rapid revenue growth. He spent nearly 13 years with McKesson. Since leaving McKesson, he has led two publicly traded healthcare companies through transformational transactions with private equity firms and completed several major business turnarounds.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
