Cotiviti's mission is to lead and innovate payment integrity in healthcare.
Cotiviti Australia's mission is to improve the healthcare system through our combination of advanced technology, data analytics, and specialised expertise. Cotiviti Australia were previously known as Lorica Health, and originally established in 2011 as CMC Insurance Solutions. Lorica Health was a commercial venture arising from research conducted by the Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre (CMCRC) – a $100 million government-funded research and development centre founded in 2001.
For more than a decade HIBIS®, NeMo, and the Consultancy Services have had a long and proven track record across both the public and private sectors to implement advanced, policy-aligned analytics software and policy advice. The use of sophisticated data analytics identifies FWA; and is expanding to detect and discourage low-quality and low-value care delivery. This improves the efficiency and fairness of healthcare systems, leading to better health outcomes for all.
In August 2021, Cotiviti Inc., acquired Lorica Health. In the U.S., Cotiviti is the leading provider of dynamic, integrated SaaS solutions, delivering speed and precision across payment integrity, risk adjustment, quality improvement, network performance management, and member engagement programs. The Australian business delivers innovative payment integrity solutions to generate value for U.S. customers. The new HIBIS-enhanced CCCR product is expected to deliver 12-15% additional savings for existing U.S. customers.
